Who is Lex?

Hi, I’m Lex! I’m a 20 year old Mexican American queer woman living in NYC, who lives to yap someone’s ear off. I started this blog to establish my character and identity to people who align with my topics. I hope you enjoy!

    Welcome to Lex Says! This blog is sort of a mix of all things: skincare journaling, story times, advice posts, and even some activism thrown here or there. Lex Says is a platform not only for me to connect to you through whichever screen you’re reading this on, but also to be your internet friend who never runs out of anything to talk about.

    For starters, my name is Lex! I’m Mexican American, the B in LG(B)TQ+, and I live in New York City. I’m currently a rising junior in college (though I won’t say which one, but it’s in NY). My interests are skincare, makeup, horror movies, new foods, and of course: yapping about everything and nothing at once! I’m a huge advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, women’s rights, and immigrant rights! My mindsets and ways of life operate mainly under one principle: if it doesn’t pertain to you, why should you care?

    You can expect every post to be full of Lex, the name and the face behind the keyboard. I’m not one to shelter away from self-expression, even if it means not everyone will like it. I am who I am and, I’d like this blog to be a place where I can be seen and heard. I strive to be a place where YOU can be free to be yourself under my comments of social media platforms! Never be afraid to shine and keep your head high. You never know who’s waiting for you to knock on their door.

    I know that there must be several blogs on the internet that seem disingenuous and frankly, a cash-grab. I see it all the time! I can assure you that this isn’t one. I’m just here for a good yap session every Tuesday and Friday!
